Women of Africa Alliance for Solutions
WAAS came into fruition stemming from BLR Elder Care - a nonprofit organization that works with homeless elders in Ethiopia. Learn more about BLR- http://www.blreldercare.org

It is a forum emerging to create community network and synergy within the African communities to echo the sentiment for opportunity and equal footing in the decision-making process involving matters that impact the community.

The first step is creating awareness of collaboration among communities that come together for a common goal.
WAAS is currently operated by volunteers supported by ogranizations to include businesses, government entitites and grass root nonprofit orgnizations.

Our sentiment is that we want to come together becasue we want and ought to.

We strive to reach far and help change the mindset of women to recognize thier strength from within and tap into local resources and knowlege within thier reach to affect economic change for themselves and their communites.
